The Status Bar shows various information. The Status Bar has 4 panes.
When no menu command is being selected, the left-most pane will show which categories are currently being displayed. If no category filtering has been applied it will show "Showing All Categories" as shown in the picture above. When only a certain category is being displayed this pane will show the name of the currently displayed category. If any date filtering is being applied, that information will also appear in this pane of the status bar. When a menu command is being selected the left-most pane gives a short description of what the selected menu command will do.
The 2nd pane shows the number of currently selected (S) and displayed (D) tasks. In this example, there is 1 selected task, and 6 displayed tasks.
The 3rd and 4th panes show the current time and date.
