The following table displays keyboard shortcuts for main menu items. These shortcuts are also displayed on the menus, next to their associated item.
Keyboard Shortcut | Action Performed |
Ctrl+N | Create a new to-do list. |
Ctrl+O | Open another (already existing) to-do list. |
Ctrl+W | Publishes your to-do list to your web site. |
Ctrl+P | Print tasks. |
Ctrl+H | Hides the main window. The program can be quickly restored from the icon in the system tray. |
Ctrl+Q | Quit the program. |
Ctrl+A | Add a new task. |
Ctrl+E | Edit the selected task. |
Delete | Delete the selected task(s). |
Ctrl+M | Mark the selected tasks as complete. |
Ctrl+C | Copies the selected task(s) to the clipboard. |
Ctrl+V | Paste tasks from the clipboard into this to-do list. |
Ctrl+F | Find a task. |
F1 | Displays the online help contents. |
In addition, there are the following keyboard shortcuts, not directly associated with any menu item.
Keyboard Shortcut | Action Performed |
[A-Z] | Quick search text. By just starting to type, your quick search text will be displayed in the status bar. The first matching task will be selected. Continue typing additional characters to narrow your quick search. |
Enter | Opens the top-most selected task for editing. |
Ctrl+Tab | Moves keyboard focus between the Notes Window and Task List windows |
