This dialog is available by selecting the File/Options.../Backup menu command.

Enable Automatic Backup |
Select this option to enable Handy Address Book to create automatic backups. When enabled, a backup copy of the currently opened book will be made upon program exit and/or at a specified time every day. |

Number of Backups to Keep |
Specify how many automatic backups to keep. When this limit is reached, the oldest backup will be overwritten with the current backup. |

Backup Folder Location |
Choose where to save the automatic backups. When using portable mode, this must be specified as a relative location to the Handy executable. A relative path begins with a single period, which represents the folder where the Handy executable is currently being run from. An example of a relative path would be:
Relative paths are only allowed when running in portable mode. Otherwise, this must be a fully specified folder location. |

When to Backup: |
Choose whether to perform an automatic backup at program exit and/or at a specific time. When choosing the At Specified Time option the automatic backup will be performed every day at the specified time. Handy Address Book must be running at the specified time for a backup to be made. |
