Enable Using Shared Address Books |
Select this option to enable the use of shared address books via A Handy Address Book Server. Address books can be viewed and edited by multiple users at the same time when your address book is opened from the server, instead a local file. When this option is enabled whenever you open or create an address book you will be given the option to use an address book on the server, or you can also still choose to operate on a local address book file. |
Server Logon |
If your Handy Address Book Server is configured with users you can specify your username/password here. You can define users and set permissions on the server. The server also provides a permission level for non-logged on users. |
Server Location |
Enter the domain name or IP address where your Handy Address Book Server is located. You can also specify on which port to communicate with the server. The server is configured to communicate on a certain port, so you must choose the same port. Select the "Advanced..." button to see the Advanced Server Settings Dialog. |
